Why hire from portakabinWith a deadline to vacate its premises by the end of the year, Air Liquide needed an urgent solution to provide work, meeting and storage space for its 22 Le Blanc-Mesnil-based employees for a two-year period. The company is an innovator in renewable energy, so in addition to having a short turn around time between brief and project delivery, site integration, energy efficiency and high technical standards were crucial to project approval.
The Portakabin solution was a configuration of 21 Alta modules including furniture, carpentry and welfare facilities, featuring a double-flow ventilation system and acoustic partitions. Adapting to Air Liquide’s request for a two storey stepped configuration with ten first floor and 11 ground floor modules, the local Portakabin team custom created a weatherproofing system to ensure they were able to deliver on these requirements.
Portakabin was chosen because they were not only able to deliver our new building space at speed but impressed with their ability to adapt to our requirements, providing solutions at a far higher technical standard, which has ensured both energy efficiencies and the comfort of our team.
