Portakabin is honoured to have received the UK Government’s Bronze Award under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, acknowledging our ongoing commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community. This recognition reflects the practical steps we’ve taken to champion service personnel, Reservists and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers across our workforce.
We offer five days’ paid additional leave for Army Reservists, alongside volunteering days for Cadet Force Adult Volunteers, and we have a clear mobilisation framework in place to support colleagues when duty calls. Through our RBC network, we actively promote volunteering within the Cadet Movement, and we ensure that no member of the Armed Forces community is disadvantaged in our recruitment process.
This award marks an important milestone in our journey, and we remain committed to strengthening our support for those who serve.
