Portakabin announces the appointment of Lord Victor Adebowale as Non-Executive Director and Sir David Sloman as Senior Advisor to the Board. With distinguished careers in executive and non-executive roles in both the private and public sector, Lord Abedowale and David Sloman bring extensive experience and valuable expertise to the mission and growth of Portakabin. The appointment follows the strategic investment from Antin Infrastructure Partners announced last year.
Lord Victor Adebowale, Baron Adebowale of Thornes in the County of West Yorkshire and a Commander of the British Empire, is the former Chief Executive of the social care enterprise Turning Point and Non-Executive Director of The Co-Operative Group, as well as the current Chair of the NHS Confederation, among other roles. Lord Adebowale was made a Commander of the British Empire (“CBE”) in 1999 and was one of the first individuals to become a People's Peer in 2001.
Sir David Sloman has had a long and illustrious career in healthcare management, predominantly in the NHS, having held CEO roles at several NHS trusts, culminating in his appointment as the COO of NHS England (until 2023). He holds several non-executive roles, including at Boards of AXA UK and Ireland, Spire Healthcare, and Health Data Research UK. Sir David was knighted in 2017 for his services to the NHS.

Lord Victor Adebowale assumed his role as NED of Portakabin on 4 September. Sir David Sloman assumed his role as Senior Advisor of Portakabin on 1 August.
