    Middleton Foods is a leading British food manufacturer that proudly supplies the foodservice, bakery, and catering industries. Established in 1900 and based in the West Midlands, the family-owned business is renowned for its commitment to quality, innovation, and strict food safety standards. 

    A major upcoming refurbishment of their main facility presented Middleton Foods with the challenge of urgently needing a way to keep their operations running without interruption. They required a bespoke food development centre at their Willenhall site to support their food tech team, offering a professional environment that could meet the precise standards of the business and accommodate 2-3 of their food tech experts. 

    Designed to reflect the high quality of their brand, the temporary modular kitchen needed to enhance the development experience and boost efficiency across all areas. Bespoke worktop specifications and precise service layouts were also required, to accommodate specialist appliances. The overarching goal being to provide a premium environment, that would embody the success and professionalism of Middleton Foods.

    Portakabin delivered, installed and handed over the new Middleton Foods food development kitchen in just one month, through combining speed, precision and quality.  

    Inside the modular building, the food tech team has access to a state-of-the-art workspace, including bespoke modular kitchen worktops and a tailored cable management system designed around precise appliance layouts. Specialist anti-slip flooring ensures a safe environment, whilst climate-controlled air conditioning ensures the perfect environment to support product development.  

    Safety features such as integrated fire alarms and intruder alarms, also ensures protection and peace of mind. Whilst full signage delivers a professional feel that reflects the company’s identity and reinforces a sense of pride when welcoming visitors.
