Why hire from portakabin

Project Features

  • Three-storey building constructed from 18 Anti-vandal Portakabin Konstructa Modules
  • Welfare facilities and Office Space
  • Installed on challenging city centre location
  1. The Requirements

Graham Group needed a three-tier site accommodation complex for a high-profile construction site in Glasgow. Under the shadow of the Barclays Bank building, and just a stone’s throw from the River Clyde, the buildings were required to provide welfare facilities and offices for numerous site staff and sub-contractors.

In collaboration with the project team we were able to design an accommodation layout to make maximum use of the limited footprint on this busy site the structure had to climb to three tiers high.

  2. The Solution

In only three weeks from the initial order, eighteen, 32ft Konstructa buildings were delivered and installed in time to meet the challenging deadline. The three-tier complex was achieved, creating optimum accommodation space for the allocated footprint.

It was during a period of heavy demand for site accommodation, but Portakabin was still able to supply all the modules that Graham Group required. This was achieved within a busy city-centre location that meant deliveries had to work around site and public traffic.

Portakabin consistently deliver a first class professional and reliable service - During periods of exceptional demand Portakabin have been able to source, deliver and install modular buildings and site cabins when needed for high profile projects regardless of the complexity of need and within limited timescales.
