The Requirements
After McLaren was awarded three building contracts by developer Quintain for the Wembley Park development plot, construction workers on the site required the highest quality site accommodation. With two buildings containing 490 build-to-rent units being built, office and welfare space for the workers would be required for almost 120 weeks.

The Solution
Portakabin installed a three-storey site accommodation building adjacent to Wembley Stadium. Thirty modules were carefully craned into place, over four days. The site is next to Olympic Way, known to fans the world over as ‘Wembley Way’ and welcomes more than 11.5 million visitors a year. The installation minimised disruption to the site and also ensured there was no risk to public safety.
The white modular building, with exterior staircases at either end, provides a clean, modern appearance for the iconic stadium site; challenging the perception of traditional site accommodation products.
We used Portakabin knowing we would receive a high level of service. They provide great temporary office and welfare facilities finished to a very high standard and their customer service is excellent, from start to finish. The installation of the facilities was completed on time and in a very safe and professional manner.
