Bourne Leisure is one of the UK’s leading leisure companies, owning brands such as Haven, Warner, Butlins and British Holidays. Haven Holidays’ beautiful Primrose Valley Holiday Park on the Yorkshire coast near Filey has around 2000 caravans set in 200 acres of land overlooking the sea.
When the park’s managers decided to improve its facilities for touring caravan owners, they developed a new area that could accommodate up to 50 caravans on spacious new super-pitches. Quality toilet and shower facilities were also needed to cater for the touring holidaymakers who would use this improved site.
Portaloo facilities were chosen to give the touring site the quality of amenities it required. The Portaloo buildings were hired for the start of the new holiday season, when the new touring site was first opened. The facilities comprised separate ladies and gents toilet and shower blocks, disabled persons’ toilet and shower facilities and a family washroom and toilet block, as well as a separate building with sinks for dish and clothes washing. Portaloo was able to provide complete, high-quality facilities for the holiday park’s needs.

We have been very happy with the quality of facilities provided, as have our guests. We intend to keep the Portaloo buildings on site for the foreseeable future, until we decide whether to construct our own purpose-built toilet and shower block or keep the Portaloo facilities on site permanently.
