If you are passionate about developing business opportunities then one of our commercial roles may be for you, from target driven sales roles to administration and customer service.

What does a commercial role involve?

The commercial teams take the lead in maximising commercial opportunities and providing excellent customer service. It’s about nurturing prospective business, developing a strategy to secure orders, then actively managing partnerships and relationships with key clients and with major contractors.

Opportunity and variety

Every commercial role is different and within a particular position you’ll experience a range of stimulating tasks and responsibilities. You could be out on the road selling products, you could be assessing clients’ needs on site, planning and defining clients’ buildings, processing data and orders, or providing ongoing support and customer care.

It is the diversity on a day to day basis that makes Portakabin an enjoyable place to work. You gain exposure to a variety of market sectors, each presenting unique challenges. No two days are the same. Since starting I have been offered several opportunities to develop both personally and professionally and had encouragement from the business throughout. While Portakabin has an instantly recognisable brand and a vast network of offices throughout Europe, it has managed to cultivate a very friendly and personable environment to work in.
