Our pledge - for your peace of mind

Time and budget overruns are a major concern for any building project – incurring financial costs, disrupting planning and operations, and damaging your reputation. But you can put those concerns aside when you choose Portakabin, because we promise to complete your project on time and on budget – every time


And that’s a promise you can trust. Last year, 99.6% of our buildings were delivered on time and on budget* – compared with a construction-industry average of only 63% on time and 49% on budget.**


To give you complete confidence in this pledge, we even promise that if we ever fail to deliver your building on time or to the agreed contract sum, you will be entitled to an additional 12 months’ product warranty on your building.† 

 

Last year Portakabin carried out satisfaction surveys with 2,700 customers, with an average score of 9 out of 10.  In addition, since the launch of its innovative warranty package in January 2004, Portakabin have sold over 2,000 buildings and only 0.17% of customers have made a claim against the warranties. 


Unique Customer Charter

Portakabin is committed to providing you with an accommodation service that goes beyond your expectations. That’s why we have developed a unique Customer Charter that sets out the exceptional service levels we provide at all times.

  

You can expect:

  • The building to be available for occupation on time.

  • The building to be provided to the agreed contract sum.

  • A service response within 24 hours from our Customer Services Team.

  • To have telephone calls answered within four 'rings' by a Portakabin representative.

  • A response by one of our staff within 24 hours of their initial enquiry.

  • An initial project proposal within a mutually agreed time scale.

  • To be included in a customer care programme.+

  • To deal with 'real' people - not an automated call centre.

  • To receive a 5-year product warranty.

  • To receive a 20-year structural warranty.

  • The building to have BBA certification.*

 

+Our Customer Care Programme includes:

  • A customer service interview after building hand-over.

  • Regular mailings – giving you the very latest developments in the modular building industry.

  • Regular contact at predefined intervals.

  • Access to our after sales team for any service issues or to discuss further development of your building needs.
